Welcome to Key Stage 1 at St Joseph’s RC Primary School. We are a mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class.

We look forward to sharing our new and exciting news with you about all the fantastic things that happen in Class 2.

 Meet the Team

PE

PE is twice a week on a Monday and a Thursday afternoon.

Homework

Daily reading – Daily reading is expected at least 3 times a week but preferably every night.  Each child will change their reading book once they have read the whole book 4 times.

Weekly spelling test on a Monday.

Please ensure your child brings their reading book and record to school everyday, as well as, a water bottle to keep in the classroom.
